Darstellung:

It ist not entirely clear if the base should be considered as a vertical or a horizontal composition; within an oval (Keel 1995: § 462) are three scarabs (Keel 1995: § 454, 516); the one in the center is flanked by two others in a perpendicular position; the composition is surrounded by a border of continuous oblong, hooked scrolls (Keel 1995: § 505); compositions with three ḫpr-signs frequently found; if they are inscribed in a serekh (srḫ; O33) with a falcon on top, they can be considered the Horusname of Amenemhet IV: ḫpr ḫprw; cf. Tufnell 1984: pl. 53,3091-3092; three scarabs on a vertical column (Keel 1997b: Tell el-˓Aǧul Nr. 484; Kerma: Markowitz 1997: 85 fig. 3,9) or horizontally arranged (Tel Michal: Giveon 1988: 96 no. 114), should not be read as the Horusname of Amenemhet IV; local.
