Objekt: Siegelabdruck auf Gefässhenkel ( § 299-313), Ton, 16,2* x 14,4 mm. Datierung: SB IIA (1400-1300).
Herkunft: Chirbet ed-Der, Oberflächenfund.

Darstellung: In waagrechter Anordnung schreitender Bovine; ein ähnlicher Bovine ist auf einer rechteckigen Platte vom Typ III vom Tel Gerisa ( Ory 1926: 6, pl. 3b = Keel 1994: 249 Abb. 46 = Brandl 2008: 147* fig. 8b) und vom Tell Abu Hawam Nr. 4 (mit Parallelen auf zeitgenössischen Rollsiegeln) zu sehen; auf dem Stück vom Tel Gerisa und auf dem Siegelabdruck von ed-Der findet sich über der Kruppe des Bovinen ein Element, das B. Brandl als Vogel identifiziert; ähnlich wie auf dem Stück vom Tel Gerisa ist auch auf einer rechteckigen Platte vom Typ III aus Kamid el-Loz im Libanon auf der einen Seite ein Bovine, auf der anderen ein Thronender zu sehen ( Kühne/Salje 1996: Abb. 13,50).
