Darstellung:

Floral motif consists of a papyrus flower growing from the center of a horizontal C-spiral in tête-bêche arrangement - on top and bottom. The gap between those motifs is occupied by a ladder-shaped geometric motif that ends on each side by a lunate (cf. Keel 2010: Bet-Zur Nr. 6). The motif of papyrus flowers growing from the center of a horizontal C-spiral is known from the Late Middle Kingdom (Ben-Tor 2007: pl. 2:24 [Elephantine]) and New Kingdom Dyn. 18 (Régen/Soukiassian 2008: No. 296 [Gebel el-Zeit]). A relative scarab, with four z signs in the gap or middle zone, is Keel 1997b: Tell el-˓Aǧul Nr. 976.
